This Cookie Statement explains how Aegix Global, LLC (“Aegix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Aegix marketing website at https://aegix.global (the “Website”). It is a companion to the Aegix Privacy Policy, which is the authoritative description of Aegix’s data handling. In the event of a conflict between this Cookie Statement and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy controls.

1. WHAT IS A COOKIE

A “cookie” is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit. Cookies allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login state and language) over time so you do not have to re-enter them each time you return. Similar technologies — such as web beacons, pixels, local storage, and tracking scripts — perform analogous functions and are referred to collectively in this Cookie Statement as “cookies.”

2. OUR COOKIE POSTURE

The Aegix Website is operated with a deliberate minimal-tracking, no-advertising posture. We use no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-context behavioral advertising. Our website analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless. The only cookies the Website uses are first-party and strictly necessary or functional, listed below.

Aegix sets no analytics or advertising cookies on the Website. If you play the embedded case-study video, YouTube (in “no-cookie” mode) may set cookies governed by Google’s policies; nothing from YouTube loads until you click play.

4. NO “SALE” OR “SHARING”

Because the Website uses no advertising cookies and engages in no cross-context behavioral advertising, Aegix does not “sell” or “share” personal information collected through the Website as those terms are defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) and analogous comprehensive privacy laws (Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Texas TDPSA, Oregon OCPA, and others). No “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” action is required for this Website.

5. GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC) AND DO-NOT-TRACK

Aegix honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. When GPC is present, Aegix does not load its (already cookieless) analytics for that visit and surfaces an on-page acknowledgment that the preference was honored. There is no uniform industry or legal standard for browser-issued Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals; GPC is the opt-out signal Aegix honors, consistent with California Attorney General guidance.

6. HOW TO CONTROL COOKIES

Most browsers let you control cookies through the browser’s settings — you can block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, delete cookies that have already been set, or be prompted before any cookie is set. Because the Website uses only strictly-necessary and functional first-party cookies, blocking them mainly affects bot protection and live chat. You can also simply decline to use live chat to avoid the Zoho SalesIQ cookies. The exact instructions vary by browser; consult your browser’s help documentation for current controls.

7. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE STATEMENT

Aegix may update this Cookie Statement from time to time. The current version is published at the Aegix trust center, with the “Effective” date at the top of this document. Material changes will be reflected by updating that date and, where Aegix has a registered email address for you, by email. Continued use of the Website after the effective date of a revised Cookie Statement constitutes acceptance of the changes.
